Wow. That's the last thing I expected.

Kim grabs the fence to prevent the takedown, knocks him out seconds later.

Holy S, he was out before he hit the canvas.

Erick fights too much like Wanderlei for that to not happen occasionally.

WOW!

A little off-topic, but who has the best BJJ in the UFC? Maia? Werdum? Still Big Nog? Leites? Mir? Shields?

How do you rank them?

Edit: 2 seconds after I posted, Joe Rogan voted for Demian Maia ...

Maia or Werdum

Mir is overrated..hes good at scrambles but his guard isn't that great.

10-9 Shields on the power of ground strikes, yes?

Maia needs to keep it standing.

Shields's transitions are SICK. 30-27 Shields. I know why they're booing, but weak sauce from the Brazilian fans.

Shields is doing nothing with the position though.

Thing is, Maia is doing the same. Neither guy has gone for broke really, but Maia should probably look into that sooner than later. Even in Brazil, it's 39-37.

Don't like the second standup in Rd 4 (Maia on top). Shields had same position and fought on. Let them fight.

Even if he pulls this off, Maia definitely isn't getting a title shot after this performance.

48-47, 47-48, 48-47 ... can't disagree. Shame that Shields doesn't even get a perfunctory round of applause.

Silva getting KO'ed and Maia getting out-grappled has gotta sting though

Did all of the fighters go out drinking the night before or what? I thought this was a really, really poor card. Both LHW fights were embarrassing, and the main event was brutal. Even Palhares ruined a pretty huge win with his usual shenanigans. DHK and Silva was fun, that's for sure.

That's how I felt as well. Fighters looked sloppy and poorly conditioned. The kind of performances you would get if all of these guys were last minute replacements. It was awful.

The two finishes were pretty good and Dillashaw/Assuncao wasn't bad either.
