Harsh words indeed and I think unfounded. Aucoin is not a great defenseman but he would provide excellent firepower on the power-play and, with McCabe, log 30 minutes a night which would diminish the minutes played by our 5/6 defensemen.

Another Lumme??? How cruel.

Am I seriously seeing people say Klee>Aucoin?

Whoa time out fellas, you've all had enough to drink.

Since when is adding a two way defender a bad thing?

When we had Caber-Leetch it made our top pairing strong

Kabs and his rotating partners of Johanson, Pilar and Klee

wasn't the safest bet out on the ice.

Klee is a nice defender, but the man isn't a stalwart on the blue line.

McCabe-???
Kabs-Aucoin
Klee-Cola/Pilar/Berg(take your pick)

Adds some damn nice stability to our team.

and lets say we bought out Nolan

and lets say we manage to replace those ???'s with Foote

That's a blue line to be feared.

Keep in mind that Aucoin plays on a worse team than the Leafs.

I think he's very similar to McCabe in many ways, big shot from the point, good on the PP, physical when he has to be, but doesn't make the mental blunders as often as Bryan.

Aucoin could easily be an all-star defenceman if he wasn't playing on a team where half the players don't know the meaning of the word "back-check".

What??? Aucoin is a better defenseman than anyone on the Leafs roster - let alone Klee. Good Lord get a hold of yourself.

I'm neither a fan of Lindros nor Aucoin, and i would not like to see them in Leaf Jerseys anytime soon
