ESPN only covers a few teams. The Yankees, Red Sox, Cardinals, Dodgers, Angels, Phillies, Braves, Chicago teams. Occasionally another team playing well will get good coverage, but usually they ignore everybody else.

John Fox hospitalized from apparent heart attack, but seemingly the prognosis is good at least from early reports.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/99...s-heart-attack

Here's to a speedy recovery.

Geez, thats crazy. And the story said heart attack symptoms, not an actual heart attack per se. I hope he can have a full recovery. I'm almost scared to check twitter now, I can't take one more bad story.

Edit: Broncos say he felt light headed and went to the hospital to get checked out. Did not suffer a heart attack.

Turns out the early reports may have been wrong, just light headedness.

Even on a bye week the Broncos can't keep away from bad luck

@JayGlazer

Just spoke with John Fox. He's having a procedure on his aortic valve on Tuesday in North Carolina. He will remain there for 2 weeks and miss about a month to 6 weeks

It's Jack Del Rio time. Terrible news though, it's always something. I wish Fox the best.

Need some quick Fantasy advice.

Peyton is my normal starting QB, but obviously it's his Bye Week. Who would you pick up and start: Alex Smith against the Buffalo Bills, or Jake Locker against the St. Louis Rams?

Need some responses pretty quickly here.

Smith I guess. There is no way they are losing to Buffalo's 8th string QB so I guess Smith will do well enough. Locker can have some good games but Titans are way too unpredictable and he seems to get hurt a lot. They are not terrible options though. I'm taking a seat on the McCown show in two of my leagues.

True, a valid point, and Smith did do outstanding last time he was there when he was with the 49ers, something like over 300 yards and at least 2 TD's....and Buffalo has given up the most QB points in FF...

I like Locker's overall ability as a young QB that gets his WR's the ball. Smith is a good real-life QB option because once he gets the lead he's all about time-management, which in certain games can be lethal for your FF Team...

I'd like to hear some more input before the games start at 12PM CST today.

Alex Smith over Locker

I have a customized reporting service, and at least for my league, here are the results:
Alex Smith (11)
Locker (13)

Next guy...
Smith (9)
Locker (11)

Next guy..
Smith (11)
Locker (12)

Each one of them has Smith over Locker...

Why do they always have Dan Foutes doing Chargers games. He's biased as a mofo.

I don't know that you could possibly gift a game better than what Buffalo is giving to KC right now. Awful.

Man, totally forgot about that guy. He was pretty bad.

Whatever horseshoe KC has up their sleeve must be huge. They should be getting blown out right now.

I dunno if they are horrible. Mediocre is probably better. That's three weeks in a row they've nearly...and probably should have been beat by a backup or 3rd string QB.

How the heck are they gonna keep up with teams like Denver, Indy and SD that have legit starting QB's and can hang 30 on you in the blink of an eye.

I think the Chiefs defense is legit but I don't have much respect at all for their offense.

9-0 they are going to get a bye. Sigh.

Fun that the NFL flexed the Chiefs-Broncos to Sunday night. Hopefully their luck runs out then.

So much for that vaunted Indy Secondary that shut us down. Keenum is lighting them up.

If Denver doesn't go vanilla and keeps Peyton clean and we don't have turnovers there is very little chance Kansas city can beat Denver

Nothing that happens in a divisional game surprises me. Nothing.

Plenty of time left too.
