So am I crazy or is a Skins player hurt on every play? Seems like they're taking "free time outs".

Terrible play for Peyton. Should've kept running the clock down at this point.

They are faking for sure.

And now one limps off after a DT touchdown but it looks real. Karma for faking.

Not sure how Beadles didn't get called for blocking to the back on that one, it seemed pretty obvious.

I mean I have Peyton in Fantasy Football so I'll gladly take the FF points, but I thought that was getting called back for sure.

Man this game is a game of mistakes left and right. That's 7 or 8 interceptions in the game, add to it Mannings fumble and that's almost 10 turnovers combined.

It's ok. I take back my previous comment about the Game being over.

I honestly think the D was a huge reason to why we got back into this game and turned it into a blow out. They came up huge. Hope they can get back to the way they played last year.

I have a hard time understanding football head hits. I mean what's he supposed to do duck down even more? He can't help it if the QB is standing taller.

I love beating Mike Shannahan though.

Yeah, and I agree with Troy Aikman, I think our defense will get better as the season goes on.

Outside of Bailey today was the first time all the starters on defense played together. If they can continue to get that consistency the defense will improve.

Talked to Malik & Knighton. They were telling me Von Miller changed everything today. They said Skins were so focused on him, guys ran free

Just stunned at how good Knowshon has become. I really didn't think he'd be more than a good, serviceable back a la McGahee. But he's a gamechanger now.

Yeah it's awesome to watch. My favorite part is how much fun he's having out there.

It really does seem like he's found another gear, and add that onto his power running game that he's found this year, that he never had before. He's just out there running over dudes left and right (or jumping right over them), and when he isn't, he's laying some 270 pound DE on his ass with a chip block haha

I am happy that Ball got some time yesterday. They need to keep getting that dude reps. I think Hillman sits for the rest of the year.

I guess Denver Post is saying today that they are actually going to cut back on Moreno's carries. I don't know what that's all about. I don't think it's due to Moreno's play but who knows. I thought yesterday was one of his best games (but then again - he did get spelled a lot yesterday too so maybe that's helping convince them).

Rockies almost got Jose Abreu. In fact we were probably second in the bidding. They finally were going to spend some money!!!!

I'm surprised about this, as I'm pretty sure Abreu will be a great player.

All that said, I don't expect the Rockies to chase any other big name players. They will do their usual job of scraping the bottom of the talent barrel this offseason.

The Rockies need three things:
1. Another starter. De La Rosa, Chacin, and Chatwood are a great core and Nicasio looked very good at times (and very bad at others) last year. But we absolutely have nothing in the way of a fifth starter. Hopefully they could get another veteran to settle in at the 4 spot so Nicasio can be the 5 while he's still figuring it out.

2. A replacement for Helton. It looks like Cuddyer is going to play first, but then you need someone to play the outfield. Bring in someone that can get you 20+ HR and at least 80 RBI and the lineup for next year looks strong:
1B: Cuddyer
2B: DJ LeMahieu
3B: Nolan Arenado
SS: Troy Tulowitzki/Josh Rutledge for Tulo's customary DL stint
LF: Carlos Gonzalez
CF: Dexter Fowler
RF: free agent
C: Wilin Rosario/Yorvit Torrealba

3. BULLPEN HELP
Betancourt is gone. Brothers is the closer but other than that the cupboard is pretty barren. Hopefully Belisle can rebound from a bit of a tough year, and Ottavino should be brought back. But the rest of the pen was pretty awful and needs a serious overhaul.

This is close to being a winning team, in spite of Dan O'Dowd and the Monforts' best efforts.

Hillman has run well this year and they spent a third rounder on him; they're not going to give up on him. They're sitting him to send a message but I'd be willing to bet he gets back into some games this year.

He can't keep fumbling but at the same time, Ball has had some fumbles this year and Moreno has had fumbling issues in his career as well.
