Bouwmeester/Pietrangelo vs. Keith/Seabrook

Two of the top pairings in the league.

At the end of the season, which one do you think will be better?

I don't think much changes throughout this year. Still Keith/Seabs.

EDIT: Although, I think this could be the year that Piet passes Keith and everyone knows it not just half the world. I like JBO but I think that he's the weak link in this poll.

Bouwmeester is super soft! Or was that only while he was in Calgary?

Keith/Seabs...no pairing beats them when they are on.

Keith>Pietrangelo>Seabrook>Bouwmeester

It should be pointed out while saying this I believe Bouwmeester will make team Canada over Seabrook.

So are these the top two pairings in the league, or are there others that could compete with these two??

As much as I love Pie, I gotta go with Keith and Seabrook. Really good combination.

This is as close as it gets but as a Blues fan I'm really happy with Bouw/Petro. Of course I would assume Hawks fans are just as happy with their pair and I don't blame anyone for voting for them.

I would still take Petro over Keith slightly, and I just really like Bouwmeester's fluid skating ability for a guy his size. It's awesome.

Keith-Seabs are more proven though. I'm interested to see how the Blues' pair does over their first full season together.

Given how close in ability Bouwmeester and Seabrook are, it makes sense to take the duo with the best player in the poll. So that'd be Keith/Seabrook.

I would still take Keith over Pietrangelo although Pietrangelo will overtake him in the not too distant future.

This coming from someone who changes his mind on whether the Rangers have good defense or not depending on the thread in question, your opinion has really lost some merit.

Let me guess though, since this is a thread on the top 2 defensive pairs in the league, the Rangers are close to the Blues/Blackhawks in quality?

Obviously I can imagine this thread was made because of the video NHL.com did about the pairs.

P.S- What is the song for that video?

Blues fan: You can't vote against the champions, at this point. However, Pietrangelo looks better this year than he ever has. And was easily the best Dman on the ice tonight. I don't mean that as a slight to Keith, who, single-handedly, saved a couple of scoring chances himself.

What does this have to do in any way, shape, or form with the Rangers?

I see a Hawks pair and a Blues pair and you're bringing up the Rangers and threads about the Rangers. I'm lost here...
