Do you remember when we used to score goals? I mean, we used to score loads of them, every night. It was great, 5 or 6 sometimes. 8 once. Now we're lucky to get that many in a fortnight.
Yeah, people can say that it's not true hockey or it's pond hockey or whatever, but I vastly prefer the high scoring mediocre to crap team like in the Pittsburgh series or Winnipeg and Tampa games of recent seasons over this ****.
So boring and demoralizing. At least when we're scoring goals it's entertaining, hope isn't totally dead, and our guys are putting up points. As is it's just sad and an insomnia cure.
It just seems like everyone is on a different page... the amount of passes to no-one where one player obviously thought the other would/should be is crazy. Hopefully once Berube gets a real hold over them and time and practice pay off this changes.
