He's on the roster because the GM said he would be

Grigo being scratched sucks but I can't argue against it. Ideally he'll bounce back from this and get after it in his next game(s). Glad Larsson is in since he's already one of the few guys we have that can get in the zone and maintain a forecheck. Scratching him for one of the vet grinders is confusing.

I don't expect us to drop 8 goals on CBJ tonight but I can see us getting 3 or 4 though. No guarantee that'll get us a win though.

One of the two gotta go, then.

Also, I'll never say another bad word about Ott (lie):

Quote:
Steve Ott, Buffalo Sabres

The Sabres veteran likes to throw his weight around when picking pre-game music.

“I go over there and shut the rookies’ music off and try to put on something good that I like, as I’m probably the only veteran guy there, old-school stretching in my stall.

“I probably get a lot of bad stares. Classic grunge music and old-school rap on there as well, and push off some of that new techno stuff that all these kids are listening to these days.”

We're pretty sure he regularly uses the word “whippersnapper.”

I can only imagine the kind of terrible Euro dance techno that Darcy has carelessly brought into the organization in recent drafts.

That whole article was great btw Bucky.

Phaneuf likes Florence + The Machine. Jimmy Howard says someone on the team needs to "step up" and take over the iPod from the Euros. Lundquist listens to punk before games even though he doesn't like it. Cammalleri is "a big Van Morrison fan" (kudos). Rask only likes Metallica but doesn't get to listen to it in the lockerroom.

Baylee isn't that great. Not that it would be fair to expect her to be

She's young.

Probably in 10 years or so, she'll have a damned good singing voice.
