Isaiah Frey hasn't shown much at all to be honest

Not sure what you are watching that says he is pretty decent nickel. Several times he has lost his man leading to easy completions for opposition

He's a nickle corner, not Darrelle Revis.

No Cutty will hurt us, no Briggs may even hurt us more. McCown looked good, but that won't happen again

I still stand by my opinion you all argue against we should have drafted a guy as our 3rd string and be letting him develop right now.

This would have been a perfect situation for a guy to show what he has.

I don't care if they keep the 4-3 or switch to the 3-4, just fix the ****ing defense. It seems like a lot of Bears fans, not directed at you Illini, that think a switch to the 3-4 is going to turn the D around on it's own.

In the aftermath of the Chicago Bears' loss Sunday at Washington, receiver Brandon Marshall suggested that Washington Redskins safety Brandon Meriweather should "get suspended or taken out of the game completely" for his illegal hits.

A day later, Bears tight end Martellus Bennett said he wants to "punch (Meriweather) in the face."

Bennett These guys (getting hit illegally) have kids, they have livelihoods. You never want to see that happen to a guy, and I don't think you want to be a guy that causes that type of emotional pain on his family, his livelihood, whether a guy can work or do things because football's football. At the end of the day, it's not who we are. It's just what we do.

-- Martellus Bennett on Brandon Meriweather

The NFL announced Monday that it suspended Meriweather for two games without pay for repeated violations of its safety rules which prohibit hits to the head.

Right, the 3-4 isn't a magic fix but what it does is it opens up the entire free agent market to the Bears. They can go 3-4 or 4-3 next year.

I remember when I said around the draft that we're going to switch to a 3-4 and I received not the nicest reactions.

Looking at the schedule, outside of the St. Louis game and maybe the Eagles game, will the Bears be favored again this season?

Meriweather's suspension was reduced to a single game.

What a joke.

Watching a few minutes of Bucs/Panthers game tonight and it is just brutal

Bucs aren't even good enough to play in UFL at this point

There are some epically bad teams in the NFL this year.

Bucs look like they have have quit on Schiano (Understandable given how much of a joke he has been as NFL head coach)

He might not last the whole year. Mike Glennon isn't a bad QB though. I actually think he's serviceable.

Team lost 5 of last 6 and only beat 2 teams with winning records (Vikes and Falcons when they rested guys in final game of season)

Also feuded with several players and caused uproar in how he acted with other coaches

Hardly a fine job

Local radio station paying for this in TB

And Fans in TB have been booing him all season

Not sure what the Bucs expected when they hired a Dave Wannstedt protege

That team was a total fart job the year before. I'm hardly surprised they reverted back to it.

I don't know why you have to lump people in some category due to a various connection. Are you the result of one person in your life?
