Joey Stacks

Let's give credit where credit is due. Joey StackDonald has the 2 SAVE OF THE YEAR candidates so far. We are ****ing 2-0-2. It may NEVER get this good for us this year again. Drink it in.

Let us peasants rejoice.

He brokered the best stop in that game.

For sure. What I like almost as much is that save was made at crucial point in the game. Maybe one of the top 10 saves I've seen a Flames goalie make.

Joey StackDonald! I love it!

As nice as those were gotta think most goalies wouldn't pass that puck back out in front of the net or trip over-extending instead of moving to a puck rolling slowly in front of you.

I could watch this guy give an interview all day long. I love the Joey "Ahh you know..." that just seems to get higher pitched with every question asked.

Gotta say I am quite impressed with his play so far. I've been talking up Ramo for quite some time now and have been waiting for him to take the reins, but Joey has had other plans. Definitely good to see.

He has been very solid, he hasn't been prefect and has let in the odd soft goal but he is giving us a chance to win every night and that is all we can really ask of him. I am very impressed with how he has played and I am more than comfortable with letting him run with the starting job as long as this play lasts.

The guy has played like a starter. Plain and simple. I want to see what Ramo can do but Joey has earned the chance to be the guy. Rooting for him to be honest. How cool a story would that be, turning into a starter at 33 after years of being a journeyman...I think the last guy to pull a similar feat was pretty good .
