fair enough.

To me if a teams win's a cup. Every single player that touched the ice had a part in making them win even if its for one game. Seguin in 2011 against tampa.

simple example

We gave up a lot for Kaberle.

If we didn't win the cup and he walked we lost that trade no question.

Because we won the cup we won that trade no question.

He was not great (hell he wasn't even that good) but he was part of the team that won it all and had an impcat.

another example

Jagr

we gave up parts for Jagr

we didn't win the cup and he walked we lost that trade

if we win the cup we won the trade becasue he was part of the reason we made it even though he played like crap for most of the playoffs.
