Then you've got:
Gallagher - Glachenyuk - Yakupov
Patches - Gagne - Bourque
Gionta - Desharnais - Briere/ Bournival
Moen - Prust - Parros/White

Emelin - Markov
Subban - Gorges
Diaz - Bouillon / Murray

na not enough grit in that top 6, and bourque is a fringe top 6'er. we cant really afford to move eller unless we get an upgrade for him (especially if your gonna move plek)

To Philly:
  • PK Subban
  • Tomas Plekanec

To Montreal:
  • Claude Giroux
  • Luke Schenn

Add a piece here and there to make it work for both teams.

I'll get them from Giroux up front instead. And you get rid of the distractions.

The more I see, Lars Eller might be a very good trade bait. I find his stick handling skills lacking. I know Eller has size but can he be a top line centerman or a 3rd line player? This of course all depends on how Alex Galchenyuk plays at center. I also think Galchenyuk is not an elite skater.

im not usually prone to hyperbole but here goes: luke schenn is garbage.

ok, now that it's out of the way im pretty sure we could get a better return for PK and Plek if they were dealt seperatly. honestly, giroux and PK are pretty much a wash, so that leave plek for the idiot schenn bro

schenn is indeed trash and if ur gonna trade subban you need a poor man's version of him coming back, someone like j.schultz basically
edit: and just for the record, theres no way in hell that i would ever trade subban

Giroux just signed a 10 year deal worth $8+ mil, what if he turns into Gomez. That's a big risk.

but i do agree we need to change leadership. guys like gionta, plekanec, markov needs to go because we haven't won anything. keep in mind markov played 700 as a hab and still haven't won a cup. pretty much like koivu. we need to strip it down.

Ewwww. I wouldn't even trade Giroux for Subban straight up, let alone this. I mean, the man's yet to score a goal this year.

im happy with markov, he adds good offensive depth to our blue line and he brings leadership/experience.. i rly wanna see him retire as a hab. that being said as much as i love plek i think we really have to move him so we can add pieces to our core. a player like oshie would fit really well in our LU

These subban trade proposals are beyond stupid, no idea what you have until it's gone.

Eller + Diaz/Gorges + 2nd for Yakupov.

They get their hand on a 2nd centerman, a good dman, and a 2nd.
And we free some contracts.

Gallagher - Galchenyuk - Yakupov
Bournival - Plekanec - Gionta
Pacioretty - DD - Bourque
Prust - White - Moen

Extra : Briere, Leblanc

Markov - Subban
Emelin - Gorges/Diaz
Murray - Bouillon

Extra : one of the kid, or Bouillon.

Don't know what you have been watching. He might be the second best stickhandler on the team behind Galchenyuk.

I wonder if the Pittsburgh board has threads about trading Crosby or Chicago with Toews or St. Louis with Pietrangelo etc etc etc.

I love montreal fans and I HATE them at the same time. They just can't be happy when they get something good. First Price, than Patches now PK. It's so ****ing ridiculous.

Then the same people who want to trade our best players wonder why no one wnats to come here to play. Maybe because you **** on them the first chance you get.

I wouldn't be opposed to something around Eller+ for a young top 6 winger or potential great 2LHD. We could move Pleky for a good young future C like the Scheifele trade discussed in depth in the trade boards...

Build around Pacioretty, Subban, Galchenyuk, Scheifele, Gallagher, Good return on Eller

Guys can we get Ryan Nugent-Hopkins straight up for PK Subban?

1 for 1 deal.

Edmonton is loaded at center with Hall, Erberle, Gagner. Lacking in defense. PK is a top 3 defenseman in the league.

Montreal gets a center giving us Galchenyuk, Nugen Hopkins, Eller down the middle.

Oh ffs, stop with these Subban trade proposals. I wouldn't do P.k straight up for RNH, our D-core would easily be one of the worst in the league without him. Plus Eberle and Hall aren't centers, even if the latter played there a bit in the beggining of the season. Arcobello and RNH are their top 2 centers.

I wonder how we'll react if Meehan has a special message for MB, about his client's artificially compressed ice time in favor of far lesser talents. Since contract talks are slated to begin shortly, we may soon find out whether MB's hand may be forced into moving Subban.

Jordin Tootoo is on waivers! Right winger.

Third line...

Prust - Eller - Tootoo

Fourth line...

Moen - White - Tootoo

It's astonishing how many trade proposals focus on Subban.

If we had an established player waiting behind him on the depth chart sure, but we don't have anyone closely resembling that.

And just after he won a Norris too...guess you cant please everyone

Cap hit is too high for a 4th line player (1.9 million).
