I was willing to give this one a chance to see if it would turn into a discussion on historical comparables and whatnot. But I guess it's not surprising it's already looking like a main board thread, considering the mostly non-historical subject matter.

There are threads on the main NHL talk board already devoted to the subject of Hertl and his controversial goal.
