Oof MT @GeorgeRichards Peter Horachek reminded Panthers that team has never won at GM/Rogers Arena. "I have" responded Tim Thomas

And he does again!

Its so sad how big of a disparity there is between the West and the East this year. Oilers would be 6 points out of 8th in the East right now. Still pretty ugly, but not 14 points out ugly.

As of November 19 not a single team in the East would be in the playoffs in the West. Not one. 4 teams in the West that are currently out of the playoffs would be in the playoffs in the East.

The Blackhawks have sold out of all 2,013 vials of "Melted Ice" from their title run. Vials cost $99 each.

New venture for the NHL

I've been saying for years that the East is a joke. This year it's even moreso.

Watched about 3 minutes of the Flames game, and had to turn it off.

Absolutely lifeless atmosphere in the Saddledome. Completely dead. Terrible hockey, no energy, and Rob Kerr's squeaky play-by-play simply made it unwatchable.

Sitting in a morgue would have been a more entertaining experience than the Saddledome tonight.

Flames fans should demand a refund!

Ben Scrivens in L.A. is this years Brian Elliot.

I think I could goaltend for that team.

Good teams make good goaltenders.

Scrivens wasn't exactly that bad in Toronto. There were some that thought he would be better than Bernier when the trade went down. He just wasn't a sexy name as he was never drafted and Bernier was a 1st rounder. Time shall tell.

Flames blow a 3-1 3rd period lead at home against the Florida Panthers who are playing 2nd game in two nights and are horrible anyway. Calgary ekes out the 2 pts in a shootout scoring every time on Tim Thomas.

Talk about when a W isn't a W.

Calgary as per usual getting all our sloppy seconds. This **** happens year after year. WTF.

I did a little run through of our schedules this year... It's shocking how many times it happens and the reverse rarely happens.

It was extremely bad last season. On one hand I don't mind because it keeps them from getting a high pick and actually getting good players. On the other I wouldn't mind getting some sloppy seconds from calgary

The West is crazy this year. The playoff positions could pretty much be decided by Christmas.

It would be nice for use to have more back to backs after a team plays in Cal or Van, but I am not going to complain about Calgary getting some softies. They are going nowhere with this lineup and each point hurts their draft position.

Now it's Dallas's turn to be embarrassed. 6-1 Blues.

Man I hate watching a Canucks game. I hate it even more when the refs buy their garbage diving. First Saad is harder on the puck and knocks kesslers stick out of his hands. Next Shaw crosses over the blue line in front of Sedin brushes him and gets called for interference. Canucks score on the 5 on 3, absolute garbage if you ask me.

So Varlamov starts in net tonight. What a class organization. The oilers get more grief for firing a guy through skype.

Who cares if he plays or not? He hasn't been proven guilty.

Oh and btw, he got a shutout tonight.

Datsyuk out with a possible concussion after Cowen elbowed him in the head. No retribution either. Other teams do get pushed around too I guess.
