Vancouver fans have to be the worst in all of pro sports.

Sure, they beat Boston last night. But chanting Boston sucks towards the end of the game? Must be smoking too much pot out there, they obviously don't remember the last time Boston was in town they were hoisting the Stanley Cup on THEIR home ice.

..... And then they tried to burn the city down.

Alex Ovechkin is on another planet right now. I mean, at least in terms of goal scoring. He's on pace for what, 60+ again? Not even halfway through the season and he's at 28... unreal

Also, 24/7 is back. Great show. They mentioned Edmonton because of Phaneuf.

If I was the Bs I wouldn't be letting their squad out on the town in Van.

It's sad the guy is from Vancouver and he can't even walk around in his hometown. **** like that is why Canadian teams are the marquee places to be anymore.

Go play in the states where you can live a normal life regardless of what you do on the ice.

Though we aren't much better with having kids teasing players/coaches kids in school.

Lol easy there Lucic, still was his decision to go out after a tough night. Probably not the greatest of ideas, even in his hometown he's a B. Downtown Van, while trendy and nice is still incredibly doucherrific, pretentious and often heatbag all wrapped in one.

Why easy there? He is pretty much saying exactly what you are. Who would want to go out there?

When Lupul was being interviewed I think he took a jab at Edmonton. He said he's been part of some franchises with incredible history and great fans and brought up Philly and didn't mention Edmonton.

I dunno, maybe I'm reaching.

So Lucic can't go out for a few drinks and spend some time with his buddies he grew up with?

This is beyond ridiculous.

I was expecting it also, but it's reaching. I did the same. Philly has a storied franchise sure, but the Oilers had arguably the best dynasty of all time (post-Montreal domination) and seeing as how he was born in Fort Saskatchewan, it was weird he didn't mention us.

Vancouver's a nice city and all, but there's something about the Canucks and not having a Cup that brings out all types of ugly in some people there.

I wouldn't blame him, he was ran out of this city. He was public enemy number 1 during his time here. Didn't help him that we traded away our franchise player for him.

Lupul played one season in Edmonton and it was by far his worst year statistically (28 pts and -29 in 81 games). He probably blocked it from his memory.
