It such a stupid tactic with regards to hiring coaches. You limit yourself so much.

My guesses though?

Gerard Gallant who is on their staff or Guy Boucher.

Just some perspective on another team's losing streak, from another team's fan base. Reading some of the comments... they sure sound familiar don't they? Courtesy of Tim Panaccio's twitter (Flyers beat writer -- https://twitter.com/tpanotchCSN).

I understand the NHL's reasoning for all the out door games, but when it comes to the actual quality of hockey, it doesn't reflect well on the skill and talent these players have. Sloppy hockey being showcased across North America.

I actually think his Rangers/Devils game has been pretty great so far.

But for the most part, I agree. The first Heritage Classic in Edmonton is the only one of these games I've been able to watch straight through.

The players all get an extended holiday, not just the non-Olympic ones. Won't happen though - the NHL will be there.

Flames outshooting the Sharks 12-5 right now 18 minutes into the first. Looks like the Sharks are burnt out from last night

We line em up, and the Flames knock em out of the park.

Anyone notice the audio for Sportsnet Flames games is a split second ahead of the play? Kerr yells "SCORES" just before the puck enters the net. It's been like that all season.

For Oilers games their hard camera and the zoomed in camera aren't synced up either.

I remember when I was in a sky box one time and we were having drinks/food watching it on the TV. You'd hear the goal horn go off yet the guy wasn't even in the offensive zone yet

Nucks look like a knocked out boxer stumbling around in danger of falling out of the playoff ring. Lose again tonight. awful again tonight.

Something weird happening in STL as well for the first time all year and losing games. Did they peak already?

Kings look worse at the moment but we know that club can dial it up at the right time. Still wonder if Blues never put it together. Great regular season club, pretty much always the story in STL that have never won anything.

Minny, Vcr and Pho all battling it out for the last 2 spots in the west right now.

Assuming that everyone picks Pho to get one of those spots, who do Oiler fans want to get the last spot? Minn or Vcr?

I hate Tortorella and Kassian but it would be nice to see the Wild miss the playoffs after their ridiculous signings.

Wanting to see Josh Harding to continue to do well outweighs any negatives on the Wild for me.

Your pathetic Flames are in the same boat, so don't be so damn condescending.

Buffalo is getting their ***** kicked by Colorado.

...You know that means they're going to bounce back against us.

I'm calling it right now:

Buffalo 2-0

Miller scores the 2nd goal after shooting the puck into the yawning net.

If Miller did score, I wouldn't even be mad. Would up his trade value and Buffalo would get a tidy package for him.

Flames win again... They move past Florida.

Backlund tearing it up, maybe our millionaires could take some advice from him.

It took me 5mins to figure out what you meant given I'd hardly notice or care that the Superbowl is today.
