Does anyone know if you can get Center Ice with (Adelphia) digital cable?
I'm pretty sure they'll be offering it this year. I just moved to a new place where I have Adelphia (had DTV), and it looks like they carry the baseball package, so I'm assuming they'll do the same for Center Ice and the Sunday Ticket.
I live out west. Las Vegas. I am going to get Center Ice. Do you think I'll have any problems getting the Sabres games with it? I didn't have any problems yrs past with Empire, but now that that station is history, will I only get Rangers games with MSG? Man I hope not!! HELP!

I doubt that will happen. If for some odd reason you didn't get the Buffalo feed, I'm sure you'd get that of the opposing team.
It's just wishful thinking on your behalf.
National networks will make a deal with the league as a whole, not with a single team (unless they are named Notre Dame).
Or "Atlanta Braves"... however my gut instinct tells me Mr. Golisano doesn't own a cable station.
Adelphia cable subscribers are assured of getting all Sabres games on MSG, as are Time Warner subscribers in Rochester and Syracuse, Gelfand said.
As of now, satellite dish owners in Western New York aren't assured of getting the Sabres games. Direct TV carries MSG, but its present deal doesn't include Sabres games.
"We're negotiating with it now to carry Sabre games," Gelfand said.
Dish TV doesn't carry MSG but Gelfand said MSG also is negotiating with it to carry the channel and the Sabre games.
Sabres on TV: Empire Sports Network has disappeared but the Sabres still will have 75 games on cable television.
MSG will carry the Sabres in the Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse markets. Rick Jeanneret will again do play-by-play and Jim Lorenz will be the analyst.
Larry Quinn, managing partner for the Sabres, said pregame and postgame shows also are planned.
Don't worry about conflicts with New York Rangers games, or New York Mets baseball for that matter. Rangers games are blacked out in the Rochester/Buffalo market because this is Sabres territory. Alternate programming is carried when the Rangers are playing.
Quinn said the Sabres have priority over the Mets in this market (though the Mets could be seen on Fox Sports New York, MSG's sister station).
