Imo sure bets are Tkachuk, LeClair, Amonte, Brisebois, Guerin, Hatcher, Whitney, Holik and Turgeon.

I could see Whitney possibly getting traded. Funny how everyone wanted him a few years back. I'm so glad we didn't sign him....

Yeah, I remember he was one of the last available UFA and at end he signed with the Wings. He had a career year the season before with 76 pts, but he struggled at Detroit.

I think Whitney is serviceable depending on the team....When he was on Edmonton for a few games, I saw him live against the Kings...His skating and puck handling were amazing...For the right price, I'd take him on the Kings...I think he stumbled in Detroit because there was so much talent, and it seems he flourishes when he's one of the go-to guys....
