Big things expected from New York Islanders prospects in 2013-14 season


Coming off an improbable playoff berth in 2013, the New York Islanders enter the 2013-14 season with high expectations. They are still a very young club with a lot of promise and should only get better with experience.



Below are several prospects who are expected to make an impact this season.

Pro

Top Pro Prospect
Ryan Strome, C, Bridgeport Sound Tigers (AHL)

Many believe Strome would start the season with Isles and potentially on the first line with John Tavares and Matt Moulson. Instead, the Islanders decided to send him to Bridgeport to start the season so he could play key minutes.… read more
