Scott Laughton remains top prospect for Philadelphia Flyers

The Philadelphia Flyers are an organization in disarray. Just weeks into the 2013-14 NHL season, the organization has already fired head coach Peter Laviolette and owns a record of 1-7.

The Flyers NHL roster is loaded with talent, but recent results have been mixed. They boast a number of promising, young forwards like Brayden Schenn, Sean Couturier, and Jakub Voracek, but the defense remains old, and many of the Flyers defensive prospects are still years away from making an impact.
