Well according to the sunsentinel it would seem that Oct. 5th will be opening (home ice) night for us against Atlanta. Was trying to find the article again but not sure which one I read that it was in. Will post it if I find it.
Another thing is that we will be playing 32 games against our conference. 8 games a piece.
Even though I live/work in Virginia.. I will do whatever I can to take a lengthly columbus day holiday trip down south to Miami/Tampa to see the CATS take on the Thrashers, and the Lightning Bolts raising there Stanley Cup Banner.
Chris
PS. Go CATS!! and BOLTS!!! Even though these team hates each other. I don't. I respect these two teams. There young and mentally phsyical able to defeat any teams.

Florida has so much potential and with the new CBA I think only a few pieces of the puzzle + 2 more years is all it takes for them to become a serious Cup Contender
It would be classy if the Panthers honored NHL linesman Stephane Provost on opening night. For those that didn't know, he died in a motorcycle accident during the Lockout, he officiated Florida games regularly.

Oh and the schedule is suppose to come out on July 25th.
Wait so does that mean we will play the Buffalo Sabres 8 times? If so that's 4 home 4 away...Man I get to see atleast 4 Panther games this year live, if I read correctly.

Here is the schedule. Only 2 games each, home and away, against Buffalo.
