We can't even beat up on team missing some of their best players. Coburn ceases to amaze me on so many levels.. in a bad way.

He doesn't have the confidence to go with it yet, but it's nice to see Couturier using his big frame to shield the puck in the offensive zone. He just needs to keep that up and shoot it quicker and they'll start going in.

Simmonds had one shift, on hte PP I think, where he had the puck and looked like he was being run down on the baseline.

He got hit by a ****ing shot!
I he tried to kick it and actually got it he should sign a contract with Barcelona FC.

My thoughts first period

Read, Streit, and Couturier looked really solid that period

Rangers defended the Giroux line really well

Power Play is just terrible

It looked like he tried to do a Grossmann style kick-block and knocked it into the net.

Considering Coburn has a long history of bad play now, it's hard to chalk that up to a once-in-a-while questionable choice.

When you're a d-man you don't want to just let the puck pass you. You see similar plays frequently but no one says a word cause it doesn't end up in the back I the net 99.99 percent of the time. Btw the pick wasn't going wide, it was on net. I'm just saying blame him for playing bad hockey not bounces off of his shin.

Oh, and Lecavalier looks good. He's going to get that line a goal tonight.

It also looks like Streit has been given much more freedom to skate with the puck, which is nice to see.

Shift of the goal he was just skating around aimlessly. He made one cross ice pass in off zone that was so bad, throw it on net, you have no ability to thread a pass .

I take it you didn't actually see the play. Otherwise I don't know where you're getting this trying to kick it toward his own goal.

I'm pretty sure they changed the Papa Johns deal from scoring 3 or more and winning to just winning the game.

God I hate this team, they lull to sleep & then right when you're getting out of it they do something to piss you off.

The Phils didn't hold up to their part of it neither this summer. Free advertising for Papa Johns.

Ya, backed it up a few times, completely on him. If he didn't move his leg it's no goal.

He and Kimmo are slow they end up running around our zone almost every shift. I'm not against having Mezz in for one of them per game to try and add some skating ability to the D.

He's got a point on Streit, definitely moving more freely out there.

This feed without commercials is weird.

Whatever you say bro. I don't know why all players don't do things that lead to accidental goals against. Maybe the team should start drafting precognitive defenseman, like seriously.

Well, on the downside, outside of the three players I mentioned, everyone else looks like ****.
