I still love him, though.

We need a win here, boys!

5-2 Ottawa Win.

The boys have something to prove tonight.

4 Pt night for Karlsson.
Neil lands a big hit on Alfie early in the game.
Smith takes a weird penalty.
Detroit scores both goals on the powerplay.
Goals by MacArthur, Turris, Ryan X2 and Karlsson.

Also our management didn't show Alfie the door.

Presumably.

Irrespective of my own personal views on the Alfredsson situation, it's hard to begrudge fans who are either still cheering for him or hating his guts.

There's ample reason to do either.

Don't we usually lose every hyped game?

1. Dany Heatley returns to Ottawa. (loss)

2. Matt Cooke returns to Ottawa. (loss)

Well, that's two I can think of. Not exactly a large sample size I admit.

Pittsburgh was missing Crosby, Malkin, Neal and Letang.

I dunno...

A growing part of me doesn't even want to watch this one. Not sure if I want to see him play in the wrong jersey, and our boys have been playing so awful lately. We tend to **** the bed in rivalry games, too. Plus we all know the Wings will be on the powerplay for half the game and those little angels never get penalized...

Ugh, just get this damned thing over with.

I don't think there are too many people that "hate" Alfredsson. Most of it is tongue-in-cheek considering he's playing for a division rival.

Hope Neil plasters him with a clean hit. And then Turris undresses him for the game winner.

Given the respect Neil seems to have for Alfie, will he throw the gloves if Kassian hits Alfie.....to pummel Kassian?

I have faith in the Sens. Too much talent on the roster right now for them to continue floundering. It'll click at some point...just hope it's tonight.

Don't you mean Turris plasters him with a clean hit and Neil undresses him for the game winner?
