Good point but he struggles from the left side too. He needs to develop a quicker pivot and get the mindset of truly battling for the puck ie take a hit to get puck control. With the pp time he gets his assist count is OK but he needs a solid 2 way game.

Blah my Methot jersey won't be here in time, will have to go with the Anderson heritage.

Wait...if Corvo is in for Weircioch and not Gryba, does that mean Phillips is still on the PP...????NOOOOOOOOO!!!

Is there really any difference between Gonchar and Phillips on the PP?

The Sens don't have anyone better than Phillips to put on the powerplay.

He doesn't hurt it, he just doesn't make it dangerous.

We tend to lose these kinds of games so I have zero expectations of a win. It would be nice if they could pull it out though.

Well, looks like I made a wise choice to drop Wiercioch from my pool eh?

That blueline is going to have growing pains over the course of the season
Plus even in the best of times, better off considering Corvo a 4th forward on the ice than to expect him to play defense

just squint hard and the 4 turns into a 55

Gonchar was a threat on his own, he could make the right passes which allowed Karlsson to move freely, but with Phillips on the pp, the other team can focus on Karlsson which sucks.

Agreed, I've been pleasantly surprised with Corvo early, he fits our system well. Gryba looked a little lost early, but I chalk that up to missing most of training camp. He's settled down nicely the last few games. Both of them I feel bring more to the ice than Wiercioch at the moment.

That's an odd way of reminding everyone that we won't be getting a PP tonight, but ok.

Ah I hadn't even thought of that. Don't fret, we'll get some pps surely once the game is out of reach for us.

We might as well get all the anger out now begin that god knows what this thread is going to look like during and after the game.

I am hoping for a win, but i think we are going to lose.

I'm curious to see how that affects tonight's game between the Sens and Wings...
