The SEL starts today!

... and the opening game is between Djurgården vs. Linköping.

Prediction: 4-2 Djurgården. Richard Lintner starts with two goals, Stefan Pettersson one and Tomas Kollar one.
For Linköping Tim Eriksson and Jussi Tarvainen will score..

...seriously, been waiting for this for a long while.. and now it's finally here!

Hey Predatore, will tier-2 game scores be posted here, or on your website. I'm interested in Hammerby and how Johan Eneqvist is doing. Also if Christopher Heino-Lindberg is expected back in November?

Go to www.swehockey.se and click on the Games Online bar and follow the games yourself.

Has Hagglund been recalled to MoDo or is he hurt? He's missed Hammarby's last 2 games.

Here's a direct link to the on-line statistics
http://stats.swehockey.se/start.htm

1) Click the blue link "Allsvenskan Norra"
2) Click "Players by Team"
3) For Eneqvist, click "Hammarby", for Heino.. click "Vallentuna".

Good news about Christopher Heino-Lindberg... he is already healthy and playing! He has played to games for Vallentuna (arguably the worst team in the league).

Johan Eneqvist has so far 2+1 in 3 games with Hammarby.

As for Johan Hägglund I don't know why he hasn't played the last two games. I can't access the team website right now... but if I find out.. I'll let you know.

------------
As for Elite Prospects we will have statistical reports two times / week from the 2nd-tier league...

Hagglund has not been recalled to MODO and I dont know why Hagglund hasnt played more. Two other former MODO players Kimby and Nilsson has played in all 3 Hammarby games so far.

Norrena starts the season with a shutout, me like. That's good for my fantasy league team...

A little surprised by the outcome of the game. Thought DIF would win this one.
Will be interesting to see if Linköping's Finns can keep the good play up.

does anyone know where a complete boxscore of the game can be found? i am trying to track the stats for the fantasy league and i am having difficulty finding anywhere that lists +/- results. goals, assists and PIM are easy, but +/- i'm unable to locate. should i wait until tomorrow?

Nah, that should not be any problem

1) Go to http://stats.swehockey.se/start.htm
2) Click the blue link "Elitserien 2003-04"
3) Click Players by team
4) Click the team you are curious about (Djurgården & Linköping in this case)

far to the right you'll find the +/-

Yeah, I saw it yesterday. Pretty interesting although nothing spectacular.
I liked the player interviews (especially with the young players ) and also quite interesting parts when they showed the derby between mif and rögle.

I was a bit surprised with the respect they had for Frölunda, before playing a game against them. The players were talking about Frölunda like if they were the Canadian Olympic Hockey team or something.

Ah well, I'll probably catch the next episode as well... if there isn't anything better to do, that is.

Valdix seemed like an arrogant spolied brat. Rihijärvi seemed like a good guy though, but we already knew that even if he's grumpy come game time.

Doesn't anyone think it's weird with a womens kind of program with a men's subject? Who's gonna watch it? Hermaphrodites and Transexuals? They can still expect big numbers of watcher due to the big transexual community in sweden.

I am sorry if I offended anyone with my tasteless joke, especially if the counter "lady" from my local Coop store is reading these boards.
