5-3 Jets. They must of remembered our sacking of them last season.

I think you either misspoke or you'v been in the vodka again. We're 3-5 so we can't get back to 500 tonight.

I'm hoping we win 5-4. I want Kane to get 4 PPG's, and Holtby to make 0 saves. I want Green to have 5 PPG's with Grabo getting the assists.

(I have Kane, Green, and Grabo on my fantasy team, and I'm playing against Holtby this week).

It seems we win all the time there and for some reason the Jets have serious problems scoring against our goalies there.

Off the top of my head I remember a 1-0 win a while back with Neuvirth getting the shutout and Ovy the winner late. Then the 2 drubbings last year.

Also I remember we had a controversial loss there too. Some non penalty or goalie intereference and somehow Buff was involved.

They should just start the game with Kane's mandatory 2 already on the scoreboard.

Evander Kane has more goals against the Capitals (10) than any other team. The only team he's scored more points on than the Capitals (14) is Carolina (17). Glad he's no longer in our division. Yeesh.

Granted, he's also played the Capitals the second most of any team (20 games against), but a 0.5 Goal/Game pace is still vicious.

This game. I remembered Ovechkin's goal as being more impressive, probably because of the atmosphere of the game, but it was still cool.

It's funny that we think that's bad, but Ovie's Goal/Game pace against the entire league is 0.62.

I think that was the game where someone from the Jets boarded Backstrom into the bench door with a no call and Ovi got a retaliation penalty where they scored the GWG.

Still I think we win this one handedly 5-1. Ovi with 2 goals, Erat with another 3 point game.

Someone scoring 80% as well as Ovechkin is still pretty damn good.

Good luck tonight, guys. Hopefully you don't put the nail in our coffin like you did last year with those back-to-back wins in our building. That was the embarrassment highlight of the season.

#Caps lineup looks to be the same as it was vs CBJ except Erskine likely in for Urbom,

that was going to happen. Erskine once healthy was going to play. even if Schmidt and Urbom have played him to the 7 spot. they need him to be able to play when needed. meanwhile I am certain their preference is that Erskine can at least play a solid 3rd pair role.

they want his toughness. they really need his experience. remember that without him mike green is the oldest and most experienced player on the caps d. the caps really don't want Schmidt, Oleksy AND Urbom all in the lineup together if they can avoid it.

So, Erskine plays to see what he has.

Yeah, Im fine with Erskine in the 3rd pairing. Rotate in and out with Erbom. That's an ideal plan.

Having Schmit as your 2LD....not so much.

But here we are.

Hopefully the Caps are in the heads of the Jets, the way the Rangers are in the heads of the Caps. I'm calling this a win for our boys.

And Ovie scores!
