I live for the west coast swings as it matches up way better for my work schedule (despite being EST) since it is roughly 1-9.

Keep an eye on him tonight, he wears #68. I think you'll be impressed.

Yeah, 5 on 5 isn't that great though.

I'm actually going to stay up and watch this game even though it's late.

I think there's an underlying arrogance involved in even getting the idea to come act chummy on the other team's board. I would much rather they come to troll.

Typically I can take work home starting at about 1pm Pacific. So as ****** as the Caps will ever play they'll still be an excuse to drink beer in sweatpants at 4pm. If I was a STH who had to commute an hour from work to games I would have been so done with these a5sclowns by now....

The GDT is hilarious still. Well done. That said, I hope we kick your ass.

Unhinged by their polite Canadian counter-troll judo, are we?

Erat lining up on the right and Brouwer on the left, maybe someone's been slipping Oates Zoloft?

Probably Kolzig. He seems like he'd have a low tolerance for those shenanigans.

Backstrom needs to get stronger... Tired of him losing board battles in the defensive end.

Mike Green is an 82-season NHL veteran and he's still getting benched in OT.

If they'd just switch Laich and Grabo I think that would be a very good NHL second line.

He got rid of his spare tire and seems a little easier to handle sometimes....

I remember his debut, lining up with a 36 year old Chris Chelios, was a sight to see.

Well, Washington is a pretty mediocre team (we'll soon see anyway, after removing them from the safety blanket SE division, anyway), it's a home game after 6 on the road, and Edmonton is finally turning a corner...and they're doing it with half the lineup injured. If we can beat MTL without too much trouble IN the Bell Centre on the last game of a 6 game road trip while missing more than half a dozen guys, Washington at home should a god damn cake walk. We could even spot you guys a goal or two and win it, I'm thinking.

That more to your liking?

Erskine-Oleksy is getting abused tonight. Oleksy, in particular, is looking bad. Poorly timed hits (that he misses), turning over the puck, reading the play wrong, etc.

Caps doing good job frustrating Oilers on PP, the Erskine and Oleksy suck it up for a minute.
