Am I the only one that's just like, 'meh', at this point. Quite apathetic on what's happening so far.

This team was AFRAID to play this way under Torts. They know the country club atmosphere is back in action, and they couldn't care less.

Isn't that an overstatement to say that they're even playing at all?

Brassard is so streaky and the stretch of play we saw him from last season and in the playoffs is not something I expect to see often.

You have a clipboard, a Casio-type stopwatch, and a thing to write with, usually a terrible pen with no cap...

You write down the information about the penalty, open the door, close the door, use the stopwatch as a backup for the scoreboard in case the board fails or the guy running it is a moron, and talk to the penalized player about the meaning of life. At the end of the game, you get a $20 bill and a head cold...

Well, this is probably one of the best Rangers performances since the franchise was founded.

Will no one say, ever

He threw one check on his first shift and and then skated out of the building and started gliding back to Hartford.

I think I remember hearing that if you don't hear a d-man's name called all game, that's a good indication that he had a solid game.

Oh wait, Kreider is a forward who was a 1st round pick? Carry on.

Moore skates through 5 guys and not a single forward attacks the net.

This team is so painful to watch. They better get a top 5 pick out of this nonsense.

This is what I've been saying. They're not working as hard because the new boss isn't as demanding. That's not Vignault's fault. It's a player issue.

Everyone is overrated. Our picks, our rookies, our O, our D, our goaltending.

He's just a dumb player. No hockey IQ. Lots of that going on.
