well these guys better find another 20mins, or this one could easily slip away and turn into a loss.

That double G shift was pretty damn great, he played like three mins and still had the legs to get to the red line easily.

True, but they have played a pretty solid game so far. Giroux will get a goal tonight yet

Blargh.

Pretty good period, but one stupid pass leads to the only goal of the period.

What was the crowd throwing to the ice there?

I thought this period was the better period, actually. Islanders had the majority of the possession in the first, while the Flyers had the vast majority of the possession and several great chances in the second, but just couldn't bury one.

I think pucks.

At Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs games they do this thing where you can buy tennis balls with numbers on them and you throw them on the field at the end of the game to try to get them into buckets to try to win prizes. I assume it's something like that.

I don't know which side of his game I'm most disappointed with.

The Flyers actually look good this game, not just because they're ahead but all ends of the ice

I think the win on Thursday really did a lot for them as far as confidence goes. They look a lot better this game, hopefully they keep it up in the third and get another goal or two.

Caught a glimpse of the Flyers TOI-report and it looks like Berube is practicing socialism hockey today.

Richmond Renegades had a puck throwing contest in conjunction with the VA Lottery at home games. One of my favorite moments was watching a kid try to throw a puck from a seated position, only to fastball it into the side of the face of the man in front of him who was trying to stand up...and then standing up to do it properly and sailing it into the glass from a short distance.

Wow just switched to the Maple Leafs feed... How can anyone be such homers as the Pens announcers? It's incredible. MAF makes a glove save and they keep talking about how "certain announcers around the league keep seeing certain things in Flower we fail to see... maybe because we see him on regular basis! He also made that save, think about it, in the last minute! Last minute of the second period!"

Aaaaaah..

I remember those day well, I was so happy and thought Paul was a genius for pulling off that trade. It's still a great trade just not as good as I thought it'd be.

I'm especially disappointed cause I thought he had a good preseason and looked more like 07 Coburn.

Yeah man. I watch almost all of my games through local streams and the Pens announcers are terrible. I'm a pretty nonchalant guy so I don't usually notice/care about homerism, but the Pittsburgh team is baaaad.

Giroux/Couturier have won 15 of 21 faceoffs.

Haha half the people here end up trying to throw it at the people collecting the balls...
