Sign Allison

Obviously if we sign Allison it would be a injury included contract meaning he needs to play a certain amount or gets payed based on performance. My question though is how many would like him back want him back or would hate having him back

Allison can go somewhere else. Now I know this guy had a problem with the team! I might have missed Blakes tirade, but not Allisons. He can go play for the Ducks!

He's an amazing player and a true #1 center which we desperately need. I voted Yes.

I went for don't really care either way.

When he's healthy, obviously a top 5 center. But he's been out for a while, and may or may not have been hurt during that entire time.

I don't have to play with him, I don't have to go on the road with him, so whether he's a cancer or not, it doesn't really do anything to me. I root for the logo, not the name on the back. I don't hate players, as I don't even know them. That's for the Kings to figure out as to whether he could still fit in with the team or not.

If he can, then bring him back, and lets hope he can stay on the ice. If he can't, let him go, and keep trying to find a #1 center.

Not worth the risk, not a good guy in the locker room, and not worth the money!

Hey Jfont, you posted a remark about Allison and a one year deal with the Kings on another board, coming from San Diego radio station. Were you being serious or are you joking!

You know, I missed his show today, but he has his sources and I would view him as credilble. I don't know if I would be exicted to see Allison back though. I believe he did bad mouth the team and coach.

I just think he's had a bad rap here in LA. People seem to believe he was faking his injury and I think he's been treated unfairly. This was a guy who had a major knee injury and surprised everyone by coming back early. He never got the credit he deserved by showing heart.

He should come back less injury prone, however i dont think he'll go back to LA. I could see him centering a guy like Rick Nash tho.

This said, if the Kings would resign him, my F**KING @#[ Allison jersey would have some sense, finally...

But it's not gonna happen, he'll play in the Eastern Conference IMO

It is simple. If we can get him for a reasonable price and he passes all physicals we should sign him to a 1 year incentive laden deal. I hate him personally but every team has a couple of a-holes on it. He is still what we need more than anything else. a top 5 center and a big mule up the middle. regardless of his attitude if he is healthy take him without a doubt

Kings fans seem to have an innate desire to re-recreate the 2001-02 team and re-sign guys like Allison, Schneider and Palffy. I'd pass on all of them, with the possible exception of Palffy if he signed at a reasonable figure.

If I'm DT, I want players who want to be in L.A., and Palffy's spurning of their overly-generous offer says that he doesn't.

As for Allison, he doesn't deserve to be in a Kings' uniform. He's the first one of that group that I'd close the door on.
