When did Bruins fans become so soft? Lets just take the high road, fighting doesn't solve anything

When John Scott laid out Thornton probably.

Sure feels that way.

McQuiad brushed Scott's hair after the hit, everything is even now, nothing to see here

It's going to be interesting to see how the leafs games go, because you know Orr and friends are going to be ready.

Yup, have to rely on other teams to take care of business for the Bruins now, kind of like how they needed Evander Kane to take care of Cooke for Savard. Yes I know Thornton fought him and even hit him once when he was down, that wasn't close to enough payback for the hit on Savard. Hopefully Orr and McLaren can take care of Scott for the Bruins, you know they will answer the bell for the Leafs and Kessel

You've heard about Naslund and Bertuzzi, right?

Nice, one example in 111 years of hockey and you grab at that. Well played

How about Rolfe and Dave Schultz?

Yeah, because Kane punching out Cooke really reformed him.

Except it didn't. He fell down, then skated off, and probably had a headache for a while. A visceral, satisfying moment for hockey fans, a shrugged-off moment for Cooke. And it did squat for Savard.

What reformed Cooke was Shero and Lemieux telling him to clean up his act or go join the unemployment line. Funny how the threatened loss of several million dollars makes more of an impact than a fist to the schnozz.

That's because Kane didn't hit him hard enough.

Looks that way. Most of the time, I just HATE watching Thornton fight. There are a few times that he tunes up a thug, but most of the time he shadow boxes for a solid minute, throws punches that wouldn't knock down a mosquito in poor health and both players fall down.
