Pens probably should look to trade Malkin while he would still have a good bit of value left.

They need some depth.

You do realize who you're taking about right? Who would you expect to get in return for Malkin?

Wasn't Malkin supposedly finished just a few years ago?

He has only had James Neal back for what, 3 games? Maybe 4?

Will take a few games to adjust to having him back but most of their plays last year game on the PP but that's been awful this year.

I wouldn't say he is struggling this year either. He hasn't scored that many but he's still been an effective team-member with 15 assists in 20 games. If he can get that goal to break his snake-bitten play right now then he'll be fine.

Personally, I'd like to see Neal-Crosby-Malkin put out more often.

This. He always does.

Trading Malkin just doesn't work, you'll never get the proper return to justify trading him.

And then we'd still lose, because Budaj would be our starter.

The only way he roars back is if he does it quietly.

I can't stand Malkin. That said, he'll turn it around. He's too good not to. Of course I hope he doesn't, but he's got too much talent and strength to continue to loaf through the season.

I have a bad feeling the Pens will find the cure that ails them this Wednesday in DC.

Malkin was smart to re-up in Pittsburgh, because no matter how he performs in relation to his salary he won't be called on it unless Crosby goes down. The irony being, he is a straight up beast without Crosby in the lineup.

I think he still ends up having a great season, he is too good not to, but maybe there is something to this "Olympic year" conspiracy thing.

LMAO ....well done.

Malkin only has six goals??? Man, that's ridiculous considering how skilled that dude is.

I'm still laughing...

HF is hilarious. I'm not sure how anyone can doubt players like OV and Geno especially given their pedigree and track records.

HF truly has that "what have you done for me TONIGHT" thinking. It's so pathetic. So glad BOTH players are making all the idiots out there hide from these types of threads.

Malkin has been in beast mode ever since Neal came back, i wouldn't be shocked if he runs away with the Art Ross now since he actually has legit line-mates unlike Crosby.
