Do we continue to waste a Giroux wing on someone who can't score in the meantime though?

My summary of this period that I just said aloud:

Welp, that was a good period until that happened.

Raffl needs to do 2 things.

1, buy a vowel
2, hit the net

If Giroux has a stud natural winger, he has 3-4 points tonight. Just need to finish. Still time though.

Sounds like a Theme amongst Austrian Flyers.

He's been pretty average IMO. He would have likely been out of this game already if the Flyers could hit the damn net.

If we keep winning and doing better then before and Raffl keeps up the energy as well as defensive play then, sure.

Yeah, I think Hiller has been shaky more then anything really. Most of our chances just end with a lack of finishing ability this second period more then anything.

I dunno. I like that line but there's better fits for it. When Hartnell's up to speed maybe...

That's the most generous 'brave play of the week' or whatever they call it of the season. Voracek gives the puck up and does little else.

Solid period. Could've been a lot worse.

Hiller kind of looked like Walt JR. from breaking bad there.

It's a shame that a complete lack of finish and three or so ugly minutes ruined what was otherwise an unbelievably good period.

Rosehill didn't get his man on that goal and did nothing on the play.

makes no sense that Hall isn't playing instead of him. weird

Another good period. Too bad a boneheaded pass gifted Anaheim a goal.

Mason keeps up this play I bet we start hearing contract negotiations are starting with him. Man does he look great. I guess around 25-30 game mark we here about it if it continues.

The first line would be deadly if they had a natural finisher, G has got his confidence back and is looking to dish the puck like a boss, he and Vinny are building real good chemistry

At this point our only high-end scorer on the wing is Voracek and he doesn't seem to be having any luck finishing at the moment. Unless you Lecavalier who is a natural center and playing with Giroux at the moment regardless.

Hartnell isn't any better then Simmonds. For all intents and purposes he's essentially a much older Simmonds. Read is great but not for high scoring totals.

If we're in contention by the deadline, I wouldn't mind taking a run at Moulson.

You can tell the Schenns are related. They both make terrible decisions with the puck in the defensive zone.
