So... Pisanu, Paponi, Romero, Nyassi, Arnaud, Nesta, Rodriguez, Warner and maybe Perkins out?
We need a REAL left back and a REAL left midfielder, that's for sure. At least two new strikers, we need to bring back Valentin. What else?
Its fine to do a rehaull, but we need to keep some core players or we'll be ****ed next season. I think we sincerely need strikers. Proven MLS guys. Players like Fabian Espindola w/NYRB. Also need some legit wingers.
Players looked dead tired tonight. We didn't rotate enough. Why? Not enough depth. By depth I dont mean players that can come in and play the odd game, I mean players that constantly battle for a starting spot week in and week out. If we can add another CM, then Bernier, Bernardello, Warner, Felipe & that other CM is what you can clearly describe as DEPTH. Not Romero/Nyassi/Pisanu. Thats garbage
Gonna miss speaking with you guys (No Homo). Now its Arsenal's time to frustrate me! (Or make me happy )
Keep Warner and Perkins imo. Maybe even Arnaud if he takes a major paycut.
Warner and Arnaud are good backup players.
Warner makes 100k. In this league, that's too much for a backup. Perkins makes 275k and Bush is just as good at a fraction of the price. They are ok players (good in Perkins case), but with a salary cap in place, we have to trim some fat. We can use this 375k of cap space to bring a new DP. Oh and Arnaud also makes 275k. If he isn't ready to resign for less than 100k, that's bye bye.
We have Bush, Rivas (maybe), Ferrari, Piscu, Camara, Brovsky, Tissot, Levèfre, Ouimette, Valentin, Bernier, Bernardello, Del Piccolo (he'll be a good one, I'm sure, I loved him in the reserve games I saw), Messoudi Felipe, Wenger, Mapp and Di Vaio to build around, that's a good foundation. We need some key players, a LW and a LB for sure, but we're not in a bad shape.
