Illinois won a Big Ten game?!?!?

We're allowed to do that?

I mean, I'm pretty sure we could take a HF All-Star team and win at Ross Ade.

The worst thing to be in the NBA is a middle of the road team, you can't get top line FA, you don't get good enough picks.

With this NBA draft being this good if Rose is that hurt you trade EVERYONE! of value and hit the restart button, if done right your back in the playoffs by 2015 and competing for a title by 2017.
Completely agree, I think this bunch of players already reached their max anyways

Deng is a nice complementary player for a contender, and I like him as well, but he should be traded if Rose is really done again

Yes they were, and in the NBA being a playoff team, but not an actual contender is just about the worst spot you can be in.

It's not like the NHL where you can get in and anyone can win.... in the NBA only a very few teams have any shot at winning (IMO this is due to two things, the huge impact individual players can have and the way games are officiated which only exacerbates my first point)

No kidding, I keep hoping we can become a respectable team that can get 6-8 wins and go to a lower tier bowl. I feel like it's been a lifetime since I saw us play live at the sugar bowl

Sounds like Rose tore his meniscus according to K.C. Johnson (Bulls beat reporter). That is the same injury that Russell Westbrook had and he was able to return. From what I remember it is a 6-8 week timeline and Rose will need surgery. As it stands it should not be season-ending.

I don't know if I would call myself ecstatic, but it's certainly better than another ACL tear, that's for damn sure.

Torn meniscus is confirmed for Rose.

What is unknown is if he'll be out about two months or more.

Additionally, kind of a disappointing game for the Saints. They looked like they were going to break through a couple times, but that idiotic mistake in the first half and being on the road eventually cost them. Not terribly pissed since I do like Arsenal, but it would have been nice if they could have came out with a draw.

Recovery time can vary quite a bit depending on how severe the tear is. A timetable should be out following the surgery.

This is much, much better news than an ACL tear.

Yeah, I just saw a tweet from Mark Stein saying the team is resigned to the fact that he will most likely miss the remainder of the season. We'll see, but a lot of the reports don't seem to be that positive. Like I said, at least it is not another ACL tear, but it definitely is not an ideal situation at this point.

I hope this was a lesson for Bulls fans. Many jumped the gun and wrote him off. Always wait for confirmation.

It's all up to Rose. If he feels ready to come back, he will. The best guess at this point would seem to be ~3-4 months.

The Bulls said those comments were made out of emotion, and theyíll reserve judgment until after the surgery.

There are several procedures to repair the meniscus. A reattachment would cost Rose the season. A removal allows for a chance to return in four to six weeks, but it also opens up the possibility of knee issues down the road.

Baylor and Oregon get drubbed. The PAC 12 Title game is Stanford-ASU. Ok State wins the Big 12 with a win over OU or another Baylor loss vs Texas.

I'd love to see my Devils in another Rose Bowl, even if they get stomped by Ohio State...
