Google shows there are at least 2. I found them and I don't even live in Edmonton.

I would say the truly awful incidents of violence I've seen since I started watching hockey were Hextall, Dino Ciccarelli, Bertuzzi, and McSorley -- about equal between pre-instigator and post-instigator rules.

I think the day-to-day cheap-shots I've seen haven't really increased since I was a kid. I think what has happened is that players will take way more time off because of cheap shots, and there are now more suspensions.

But I feel like people have rose-colored glasses on when they think of old school hockey when the instigators were around. The elbows, the two-handed slashes, the sucker-punches... they have always happened.

Hey I know why it's taking so long. Their trying to figure out the easiest way to tell the fans he's out 6-8 months and were F***ed again for another year.

MIC -- Go where the pros go.

I've seen that video a 1000 times on the Oiler website (whoever mixed the audio should find a new job), the Oilers get their MRIs done there.

I only hope you are right. I have been checking all day for updates. ALMOST like he's a long lost brother of mine.

If that is indeed the diagnosis we should be relieved. It sucks losing him for up to a month but it could be a lot worse.

If what Speedyturtle's saying is true, then it's just an incomplete tear of the ligament. Hopefully there's no meniscal damage on top because that's the thing that causes all the long-term damage/pain and future arthroscopy requirements.

@EdmontonOilers
GM MacTavish says Taylor Hall is expected to be out four weeks due to his injured left knee.

Good to know he'll be back in a month. Just hope he's back healthy and it's not one of those things that never really heals for a year.

Could have been worse. Probably sinks the season though.

Good teams deal with injuries and keep winning. If this sinks the season it means the Oilers still suck.

I think the one game win streak is going to be tough to maintain.
