I wouldn't say no to that, him or Bournival to be honest. There's a huge logjam coming in when our 5 injured forwards return.

If Prust or Bournival could play RW, our 3rd line should be Prust - Leblanc - Bournival. A defensive oriented line that can score a few goals here and there.

If Parros can be in the line up tonight sit DD and play those lines

Bournival-Plecky-Gionta
Galchy-Eller-Gally
Bourque-Leblanc-Holland
Blunden-White-Parros

I wouldnt move Bournival off Pleks wing. He seems like a perfect winger for him IMO.

Leblanc's been a RW for a long time now. I'd rather have Holland play centre.

But if DD magically gets scratched I think there's only one reasonable answer for who moves to centre and that's Alex Galchenyuk.

I agree, Bournival seems to have added a spark to Pleks. No way I'd move him off that line.

We have a waiting line up of centers waiting to play at center with Habs.. and Leblanc is far behind.

Seriously, when's the last time Leblanc played centre? 2 years ago?

If DD gets taken out of the equation, we already have 3 capable centres (Eller, Galchenyuk, Plekanec) without having to throw Leblanc into the mix.

Face the facts, DD is here to stay.

Cannot be moved.

Wow, Leblanc was pissing off everybody in the GDT after the first half of last game... I guess he played good enough in the 2nd half to potentially deserve that spot.

Anyway, whataya guys think about this line:

Bournival-Desharnais-Leblanc

I know it won't last long but it was funny to see a 100% french line last game, first time in how many years!

When Danny B will be back just dump LL to Hamilton.

Galchenyuk - Eller - Gallagher
Bournival - Plekanec - Gionta
Pacioretty - Briere - Bourque
Prust - White - Moen/Parros

Whenever Briere comes back I'd like to see him put at centre, according to Philly fans he was a lot more effective down the middle and having two bigger wingers could help him a lot.

Leblanc has done even less than DD to warrant anything at this point.

Our only hope to see DD scratched now is when Briere comes back.

Or maybe when Pacioretty comes back as well, Galchenyuk could be moved to Center to play with Max, and Bourque moved to the Eller-Gally line.

Fell almost sad for DD....then I remember the paycheck he gets for not doing much these days and the sadness passes.

Would love to see LL grab a spot on this roster but I don't think it's as a C. His skating is still not great and it's probably more responsibility than he needs. Bournival would make a better 3C once guys come back from injury but he's been doing great on Pleky's wing.

I think Briere would be a good option once he's back if we're looking to let DD sit. Or perhaps Galchenyuk.

Bournival - Plekanec - Gionta
Bourque - Eller - Gallagher
Pacioretty - Galchenyuk - Briere
Prust - White - Moen

While LL can play centre, and has the hockey IQ for it, he is just too good along the boards, the dude is mentally soft, isn't really big at 6' 190ibs ~ but man does he do well along the boards, last night he won so many puck battles along the boards, putting him at centre takes one of the best things he does IMO.

Might actually help if he's played center sometime in the last few years...

Maybe he hasn't been yet but in 2011-2012 he was great along the boards.

I know but just saying. Taylor Hall and other true wingers played C. Leblanc who has experience MAY one day find himself in that position but guy hasn't made it in his pro position, why are slotting him at C? Let him first earn a wing spot then we'll explore the wackiness.

Why LL and not Galchenyuk? He should be next in line.
