I can't believe so many people are still in the arena subjecting themselves to this mess... though, I wouldn't leave either...
I wouldn't have even gone to the game in the first place until they look like a tolerable team at the least. Not sure if I should feel bad and admire for those in attendance or think that it's their own fault for going in the first place.
devils fan coming in peace. What is going on with your team guys? I thought a coaching change, a goalie change, and some fresh faces was going to be great for you. I honestly thought this flyers team was going to be a major powerhouse this season. I mean, for our team.. I knew losing 3 key players was going to make us suck so hard, but honestly on paper your team should be kicking culo and taking names.
and Voracek stepped up into Jagrs position last year.
So is he big problem seemingly that Kimmo and Hartnell seem to have regressed heavily, so basically they have lost a 1PP guy and 40 point D man and a 55 point winger and Coburn not lived up to 11-12 performance?
Or is there more too it. As not much has really changed in personnel, and even then on paper it seems pretty equal.
Except you're forgetting a coaching staff consisting of a bunch of Flyers alumni of which only one, John Paddock, had any NHL head coaching experience. Heck, I believe Ian Laperriere, nice guy that he is, has never coached in any role.
1st time I've ever heard that; #Flyers returned to ice 1st to chorus of boos usually reserved for visitors. Ugly, ugly night in South Philly

There may or may not be a very interesting post-game interview group coming up. In all honesty, as soon as I saw we were getting destroyed in the 1st that's why I stay tuned instead of changing it. Just to see how the pressers go.
After around 40 years or so of not winning it all and now being the worst team in the league fans tend to get angst.
