By the looks of it, the suspension killed the episode. Phaneuf seemed to be into it, then probably got tired of them asking about the potential suspension.

The league just glossing over another Pens' head shot. The NHL "handling" the head injury issue is a joke that isn't funny anymore.

Unavoidable? He watched him the whole time, it wasn't a simultaneous go for puck and give hit, he was going for hit the whole ****ing time.

Ottawa coach Paul MacLean rips his team

"A closed-door meeting was held after the game, and Paul MacLean wasn’t mincing any words after his team’s poor performance:

'There’s a lack of focus, there’s a lack of leadership, there’s a lack of preparation, just a lack of wanting to play in the National Hockey League and be a team that is willing to do what it takes to be elite. We’re a long, long way from being an elite team in the league.'"

Will be interesting to see whats going to happen with the Captaincy, because apparently its Bobby Ryan whos been stepping up and saying stuff to the team. Jason Spezza is known to be socially awkward so maybe he wasn't the best choice for Captain..

When you look at the injury report for the jackets it's actually sad on philly's part. They likely win that one with Bobrovsky in net. Then Horton,Gabby ect...

Philly will struggle again. They are clogging up the neutral zone with a lot of big bodies right now and Mason has played well. Chicago...a team with a good forecheck ate them alive and put up seven easily. The caps looked bad vs them because they wanted nothing to do with getting hit at the blue line.

It got worse; their one clip from 2011 in the Winter Classic montage was him making incidental contact with a fourth-liner behind the play.

Some major trolling going on in the mainboard GDT. Some guy is saying that hockey players are pampered because this game is slow and boring.

Has nothing to do with the conditions slowing down the puck carrier but not the people without the puck.
