Jaba the Hut starting tonight?

Smith should get back on the scoresheet. I want to see more from Fish in the offensive zone.

Back to the scene of the crime. We had just creamed the Wings in 5 games, had our Russian Sniper back, along with SK/AK, Suter/Webs for 30 min a game, Rinne pre-surgery, and no room for guys like Toots. The hockey world was ours. And then it wasn't. Disappointing loss against a team we should have beat, followed by our worst season in years and a playoff miss, followed by a mediocre start to this season and injuries already setting the tone.

1 1/2 years ago. Was it so simple then, or has time re-written every line. Remember how it felt during those off days between the Wings and Yotes series? Board was lighting up and we were high on post-season success.

Good place to begin anew tonight. Win the 1st of 7 road games, get 2 over .500, and keep building on that.

Funny, isn't it. Last season really has shaken our confidence. We've stopped expecting to win. We're back to hoping we win. I dread hearing that coyote howl. It's a 'Nam flashback.

I "hope" we win.

Lets shuffle the lines and go with Rads/SK47/AK46 as our top line and see what happens.

Outdated photo, we don't pull nearly that many fans now a days.

Good luck tonight! Here's to an exciting hockey game with no injuries!

If you're going to keep Forsberg, play him!

this is literally laughable to me now. We put Stally back in the lineup on a line that he should work well with, if given a long enough chance throughout the night and not shuffled down to the 4th line if he doesn't put up a point in 3 minutes of ice time and then we scratch FF9 and GB?? How about scratching Spaling and Hendricks for once.

And the coaching woes continue......

I agree! FF should be playing, not Clune, Spaling, Hendricks or Nystrom! Sit one or two of them! Scoring potential!!

So frustrating!

Bourque is in fact in the lineup tonight and Clune is scratched. Bourque had to leave the morning skate early with a skate issue and is good to go now.

Wilson - Fisher - Stalberg
Bourque - Cullen - Smith
Nystrom - Legwand - Hornqvist
Spaling - Gaustad - Hendricks

Not entirely opposed to scratching Forsberg, but they are caught between a rock and a hard place in terms of working him into the lineup. With Smith actually getting going again this season and Nystrom playing well, it limits the options for Forsberg. Key is keeping him interested and continuing to have him improve so that when the opportunity comes for him to be in that he is in a position to succeed.

Team needs scoring? "I know, let's put grinders on the first and second lines. Clune will definitely add that missing component to make the second line deadly"

there is no rock and a hard place. it's simple. you don't scratch forsberg, you play him so he can learn on the fly from his mistakes and gain experience that way and not from the press box. then you scratch spaling until you trade him and waive hendricks, because someone will pick him up.

trotz.....really?
