Just waive to go to Edmonton Ryan. Not because I dislike you but because I hate Rolston and it could be what's needed to get him fired.

Again with the better linemates nonsense. He's a low energy player that doesn't work hard enough to retrieve the puck and relies too much on his linemates to do it for him. His linemates are not the issue.

There's a good chance we will know by Christmas if it's 1, 2 or 3 overall or just 1 and 2. They're going to lock up last place by game 30 at this rate.

It seems the shots on goals vs. the Sabres are unprecedented. 46? Christ. A. Mighty!

G: Miller-I've become frustrated for him
Flynn-getting chances. showing some effort
McCormick-fight, shoots the puck at the net
Pysyk-the usual reasons
B: Foligno-usually dominates 1 on 1 battle. Only started doing that in the third.
Myers-needs to be a little bit more aggressive or a little more conservative
Tallinder, stafford, leino, ott, larsson-invisible

U: Rolston- thoroughly out-coached...again. When are we going to stop letting our opponent walk into our own zone. Our team is just so passive about everything.

He was cycling the puck down low with Flynn for about 20 seconds before they found Girgs for a good scoring chance. Don't see what everyone else is seeing in terms of lackadaisical play.

You put him with a couple skill guys who can help retrieve pucks and open up space for him and he would be deadly.

I've never forgotten someone was a rookie as much as Mark Pysysk. He's obviously not as skilled but this is how Wild fans must have felt about Brodin last year.

Wild fans felt about Brodin what we felt about Myers in his rookie season.

Pysyk has not been noticeable--which is not a bad thing for a D-man, especially on this trainwreck of a team. Of course, it would help if Ehrhoff would get his **** together--it seems most of the breakdowns on that pairing come because Ehrhoff messed it up.

Someone mentioned this before- but it looks like Ehrhoff hasn't been as sharp for about half a dozen games or so, probably due to the fact that he's been playing so many damn minutes. Dude needs a rest methinks

Seriously he could be 30 and I would still be OK with is play. I get the feeling he may not put up points but I havent seen a guy this steady in his own zone since Lidstrom. I feel bad comparing the two. He may not bring the offensive production but his defensive work is fantastic.

Yeah, banging that drum for a few games -- he's looking fatigued and making mistakes he wasn't making before the massive workload set in. I wouldn't mind if they ramp up the kids' minutes on the back end. Let's see what they do, right? It's not like the defensemen have been weak -- if they are, they get pulled out like Zadorov was tonight after his poor game a few nights ago or Risto was before that. Or Weber and McBain even.

Amazingly, there are actually two teams that have given up more shots against per game than the Sabres - Ottawa and Toronto

It's totally realistic. One way I see it not being realistic is at some point down the stretch teams start to rest their #1 goalie against Buffalo and they manage to get a win or some points from going to OT or a SO.

This team is really bad. From a pure points stand point they may go down as having the worst season in NHL history. The Capitals were 8-67-5, 21 points, in an era that played only 80 games and didn't award points for OT losses and SO losses. Using that methodology of scoring, Buffalo would have 3 points through 15 games. This works out to be 16.4 points over the course of the season. That's horrifically bad. I know the eras are different and it's not 100% apples-to-apples, but I don't think it will account for much more than a few points. We're watching history here, folks. Although it is not the kind of history you want to watch.

This is just a poorly coached team. There is a difference between suffering and lost. Poor effort, nonexistent vets, and a GM that couldn't put together a 5 piece puzzle. Tanks for nothing. Hopefully my 2 year old can see a playoff game before he hits college.
