P.K as a winger

strictly hypothetically speaking, do you guys think Subban could be successful playing wing? there's a few reason why I am bringing this up. Yes PK is an elite player, no doubt about this. Although amazing offensively, and very good defensively, he makes a couple of stupid defensive mistakes most games that costs us big because he plays against the best opposition. And obviously there's the Brent Burns Experience that panned out alright. Subban is much faster than Burns, has better control and has a better shot

What I'm proposing is having him play right wing with say, Galchenyuk and Pacioretty. How dynamic would that line be?? Subban would a great power forward. He would definitely keep his blue line duties on the PP, seeing as that's where he gets most of his points.

Pax-Chucky-Subban
Bourque - Eller - Gally
Bourny - Pleky - Gionta
Prust - White - Moen

Markov - Emelin
Gorges - Diaz
Murray - Tinordi/Beaulieu depending on who were are playing.

I know DD and Briere are not included, but wouldn't that be a great top 9?

again don't flame me, this is just a discussion as to if you guys think it would work out or not

Yeah!! P.K. will definitely want to learn a whole new position and mindset and sacrifice that big contract year.

Actually he was practicing his goalie skills on ch 24 so who knows.

He's a great defenseman, if we remove him from defense we're a lottery team.

Further, his failed risks are just propaganda. The reason he screws up so many times is because he takes the most chances and succeeds so often too. It's equivalent to saying that the baseball player with the most swings has the most strike-outs... yeah and he also has the highest slugging percentage.

hum... I don't think you value defensemen very well, a top 2 D pairing is easily worth as much as a 1st line.

Should Pittsburgh convert Sidney Crosby to defense? He's a good defensive forward.
