Of course. Taking my father to game for his birthday and Ghost isn't there. Time to just drink...

Why is it the NHL is so vague with their injury reports?

I think they should be extra careful with him and not take any chances. he is a huge part of their future. Sucks some of you are going to miss seeing him tomorrow.

I feel bad for all of you going to the game, but it sounds like a pretty minor injury.

The flipside is Streit gets #1PP time and hopefully keeps someone interested in trading for him.

I get the feeling they are just being cautious with this like they should.
As I said, he is a huge part of the teams future. no need to risk it and send him out there with a dinged wheel even if it is minor.

As someone who got to watch him with the phantoms, I feel bad for yall going to the game. He's worth the price of admission

It was when he got tripped up by Koivu. He kind of got can openered and went down awkward. He got up slow and didn't play the rest of the period, played 2 shifts in the 2nd period and went back to the lockerroom

This is very unfortunate, but on the flip side we get to see Manning back in the lineup. Hopefully he plays better than Sarge so Schultzy can take a rest for a few games.

We "get" to see him? More like we are afflicted by him.

It's like finding out the restaurant has run out of steak, so they replace it with meat filling bag they got from Taco Bell, and the cook put his hand down his pants before handling it.

And to boot, it's filled with congealed shower-drain hair.
