Kid is about three playoff series away from being Brind'Amour-level ugly.
The blown non-goal call is just the NHL making up for past mistakes.
G.B. "Okay, here's the deal. If you guys shut the hell up about 'no goal' and that Philly playoff goal through the side of the net... we'll cut you guys a break finally."
D.R. "Well we do have the lottery coming up. Sounds fair enou..."
G.B. "Deal. We'll wipe out an out of conference opponent's goal in a 4-4 3-point game after everyone goes to sleep."
D.R. "That would help our heroic run to 9th place..."
looks good on him, he has been awesome this year. He is what we need not Scott. He can play a shift AND defend his teammates. Guys like McCormick/Prust/Thornton/Neil/Boll etc. are valuable
MEH line in the offensive zone and on the PP
Stafford getting a goal
Myers played a great game for the most part and was a physical force on the walls
Ristolainen had a strong game
Molson and Hogson in the shootout
Ristolainen's penalty and foot speed currently

Surrendering the lead at the end
The sharks have recorded 50 shots the past 3-4 games. They also have out shot their opponents 2-1. They Sabres were only out shot by about a 1.5 margin. It's not as bad as it looks when you realized good San Jose is at getting shots through to the net.
It was a blown call without a doubt. We benefitted, shockingly.
I felt it was a case where no-one from Sharks figured to protest, and they dropped the puck soon after. Perhaps if someone from the Sharks and/or ref had seen it, they would've reviewed. It took a short while for the Sharks' TV crew to catch up to this.
