With the youth they have in Philly, I'm surprised there weren't more players on the chopping block.

I don't think they are done. These were the only two for sures for buyouts.

If LeClair were to play for $1 million on a 1 yr. contract, I think LA should take a look at him. For a year, he could help a lot of the young guys out. It depends on his health...

There are going to be so many free agents out there at a bargain price. The only thing that worries me is the idea of signing too many free agents. I'm looking forward to seeing our youth move up.

For a million bucks, LeClair would sign with Pitt before LA

My gut says LeClair ends up in either Boston or Montreal
Amonte ends up in Dallas or St. Louis.

No thanks I'll pass. LeClair is a far, far cry from his former self. The guy is done, has been for a couple of seasons now. I'd rather give that spot to a youngster, than to a guy who is a dark shadow of what he once was.

LeClair and Amonte both knew this was coming as did every Flyers fan.

Flyers down to a $22M payroll just like that.

I would rather wait and see all the players available. We don't need to spend money on players nearing the end of their careers.
