Never give up a chance to show off the Wildcat! (And I didn't want to stare at a picture of Ott or Eriksson)

The Wildcat signed for this German team Augsburger Panther last week so cat is the theme here..

So, we're going with water and Gatorade on this one? Haven't seen much of the DRW this season but I doubt nothing has changed.. Stop Datsuyk and the Swedes, don't take penalties and laugh at the worst crowd in the NHL to win the game...

Interesting quote from Babcock...

When we went into Colorado, they told us the only team that outskated them was Dallas. We watched them play the other night against Boston and they looked fast, other than the first period when they turned it over.’’

Seguin, Benn, Nichushkin, Eakin, Chiasson, Peverley, Cole (when he wants), Roussel this team has a lot of players who are fast skaters.

Wouldn't call Chiasson fast..moves well for his size though. Garbutt/MacDermid, whichever plays are both fast too and Fiddler can scoot as well. And most of the D can really skate well too. Definitely a good skating team!

Who do you guys think is the fastest skater on the team now? Daley? Roussel? Or maybe Seguin. I'd be very curious as to who it is cause even Dillon is pretty quick.

I love the pregame report where Razor says the smell of success is "urine in the stair wells and relatively inexpensive pizza", lol.

Personally I think Daley has lost a step and his reputation for being fast is more based in the past.

Seguin is an elite skater.

Id agree that Daley has lost a step but would still call him fast.

What about Nichushkin? I'd say it's between him and Seguin.

Nuke is deceptive & certainly fast but I think both Seguin & Roussel have a step on him. I imagine it's Tyler by probably half a stride or less.

I don't think much has changed in the past hour and a half, HF.

You guys are going to be scary good in a year or two if Nichushkin and Chiasson keep developing at the pace they're going. Big, skilled and fast. I don't know if Benn would ever consider going back to C, but imagine having one each of those big skilled wingers and one stud C on each line. With the right supporting players could be pretty lethal. Only question is how Lehtonen will do in the playoffs (don't think he's had much experience there but he can't be any worse than Fleury in the playoffs).

I like your lineup. I think in years when my team's out of it, Dallas may become my unofficial "root for" team. Even your Fox announcers are better than most. Certainly better than the two idiots who call our games. Or Detroit's. Their announcers blow. Hope you guys stomp on some wing tonight.
