Consistent Top-6 Winger to FLA

Yet again, we find ourselves in the Sunshine State begging for goals and consistent offensive effort. Defense is an issue too, but that's for another time.

Assuming everyone not named Barkov or Huberdeau is in play (1st is available too), what are realistic offers either now, at the deadline, whenever.

one of Havlat,Kennedey, Wingels + for Kulikov

Wingels is the best of the 3, would lead the Panthers in scoring. Really don't see DW trading him.

Would prefer something like
Kennedey, Irwin, Hamilton
for
Kulikov

gives the Panthers a top 6 winger, young PMD on a good contract, and a NHL ready future shut down center to compliment Huberdeu/Barkov.

Kennedy is a top 6 winger? Yeesh.

I think Goc would fit fairly well for the Leafs and give them some good depth. I'm not sure what they could offer in terms of NHL ready assets though, especially not in the top 6 form.

Gagner is a consistent point producer on the 2nd line as long as you are not expecting 60+ pts.

Straight up for Campbell or Kulikov is the price.

If you want to add to the pile of ex Oiler dmen.. we can throw in N.Schultz, Grebeshkov or Potter. Gilbert and Whitney should be familiar with all 3

On the Sharks he certainly is, maybe not other places where he wouldn't get to play with Couture or Pavelski.

Sharks depth players aren't well known around HF, but they're good. Wingels for instance would be worth much more to GM's then what alot might expect imo.

To FLA - Mason Raymond + 3rd

To TOR - Erik Gudbranson

I thought this seemed to be at least in the ballpark of fair, or am I way off?

No way

Gudbranson hasn't lived up to the expectations but I really want Tallon to hold on to him and see how he developes. If he reaches his potential he is worth A LOT more than Raymond and a third.

I've proposed this one before, but I think a deal around Simmonds for Kulikov would be beneficial for both teams. We could throw in Meszaros and take back Upshall's contract if necessary.

That sounds like the perfect scenario if you ask me. I'd totally do Kulikov + Upshall for Simmonds + Meszaros.

a rental and a high 3rd for someone on an ELC that was drafted 3OA and is a beast when he's on his game?

i guess we'll do:

versteeg

for

Kessel, JVR and a 3rd

I know that you guys don't want to move Gudbranson but what just hypothetically speaking, could something around Purcell + prospect and/or pick be a fair value for him? I would love to get him to Tampa, would be the perfect partner for Hedman and I'm sure that Cooper's system would be great fit for him.

Florida could have had Raymond for free a month ago.

Attn, all Sharks fans: Stop offering Martin Havlat up on the trade forums. There is exactly one reaction to it that you will see: The other team's fans will drone on and on about how much Havlat sucks and how the Sharks wanted to buy him out and how he has negative value.

Havlat is worth more to the Sharks (aka the ideal RW for Couture and Marleau and has been playing great) than he is to anyone else in the league, so there is no deal to be made.

While I do agree with you, he hasnt yet reached that potential so currently isnt worth as much as that potential would suggest. So based on current value I dont think its THAT far off. But if I was a florida fan, I wouldnt wanna let him go either haha

where Gudbranson was drafted does not affect his trade value.
The thread was looking for top 6 scoring help for florida. Raymond addresses that need as he easily fits into your top 6. Maybe make the pick conditional. Like it turns into a 2nd if he doesnt resign or something.

needless to say but Ill say it anyway...youre counter is beyond ridiculous

I really like Gudbranson and want him to thrive here, but to me he's not untouchable like Hubey is. But Raymond and a 3rd is a no go.

So someone who would be your top scorer the past two seasons isn't ELITE enough for you? Good to know, good luck finding something better.

why would we give up a prospect for someone we already traded away, and has gotten worse since we traded him?

ofc it affects the value of him to us. trades are not made in vaccuum...

if you honestly think that raymond+ a 3rd is worth gudbranson, you should just leave this board

not for gudbranson. campbell would have outscored your D, would you trade stamkos for him?

logics isnt always straight forward

Expect that Gudbranson and Stamkos aren't comparable. I understand why you don't want to move him for Purcell but you won't get better deal than Purcell + prospect (Barberio?) for him.
