I think Luc will stay one more year and try and win a cup in LA, if any year is going to be the year to try and make it happen, this could be the one, IMO. And well, Avery....My new favorite, he is the new "Lappy" of the team. His role is going to take on more and more meaning as the season's go by. I think he is here to stay.

Good post first off! I really like Luc and going to be upset if he retires. I hope he annouces that he has one more year. Avery is going to be a fan favorite. I think Flinn, if he plays, is going to lay down the law on alot guys and thus become another fan favorite along with our skill guys of course.
If we get a #1 goalie other than Garon and get two forwards and Blake, I like our chances this year. Assuming Mike, Dustin,Tim, and the UFa's have good year.
We've had average goaltending for years now and that needs to stop. You can have great forwards and good D and still lose. It just seems that the team over the years hasn't fixed the issue. I'll wait and see what Garon can do. He didn't show much this year in Manchester.
I think Miller is vastly under valued by a lot of you. That dude is totally legit and will probably fill a big time role for the Kings next season.
I completely agree with this post. I know that Miller has been hurt, but the time off should have helped him and I hope we don't buy him out. He is a tough, hard nosed competitor and great for the young guys coming up.
I don't think anyone doubt's Miller's value when he plays. The problem is that "when he plays" is too infrequent. Honestly, when he came back last season after missing all that time, he looked like a cone on the ice.
Miller isn't healthy enough to be a force for the Kings... plus when he returned last year, he played poorly. I'd rather the Kings buy him out as well.
The Miller bashing is spot on. He played a contract year and that's all! He's the number one reason why we lost Schneider that year. We wasted so much money on this guy, and it was simply due to the fact that we lost Boucher for the same reason. He was a joke at the World Cup also. I would love to see Miller bought out or traded if possible.
I also wouldn't mind if he proves me wrong, and gets back to some of that nasty play he once had. We need some serious a-holes in the back. Deleting Modry was a great first step!
I am in the keep mode with Miller. When healthy he was, and still could be a force on "D" and a mentor for the youngsters that will be coming up to the big club. I don't think they should waste the cap room they have on "D" when we have so many holes up front. With the rule changes, we shold keep Miller and find some snipers and PK specialists for the shootouts.

Also, people should keep in mind that one Millers injuries was a broken foot from a shot. That kept him out a while and shouldnt count towards his injured days out. Stuff like that is going to happen and it isnt from being soft or outta shape.
Have $20M committed to 20 players. Will go out and spend money but not to the limit, want flexibilty. Committed to the development system. Kept all 19 scouts on board during the lockout.
keep the nucleos of our young prospect intact, we don't want to loose the players we developed through the years via free agency
having the money to fill holes on the free agents market. We're going to spend the money to upgrade this team before we hit the ice in September
TL also spoke about the fact "We have the cap room to make a trade for a franchise player if there will be the chance to do it", which is a sentence I've particularly appreciated.
