On what he has learned from Sutter:
I guess you can look at it now and say it was sometimes tough when it was happening, but I have the utmost respect for Darryl to be honest. He has always treated me well and I did learn a lot from Darryl. No hard feelings there. But I think you do learn from experiences, thatís for sure.
On Darryl Sutter:
I do have the utmost respect for Darryl. He is a great guy. I mean there is not a guy who cares more about his players than Darryl. He can be hard on you at times during the game but he is always the first guy go pat you on the back after or compliment you. I had a lot of talks with Darryl over the last couple years. Even though sometimes he was tough on me, not playing and other things, but he was always fair with me and honest.
I would rather have a coach like that for the team than someone who loses the room. how quickly we forget the final days of Andy and/or Terry Murray, when it seemed like the team stopped responding.
