The Oilers just allowed 2 guys who haven't gotten a point all season, to notch a goal each.

I don't know how you leave someone wide open in the slot like that.

No way goaltending is the entire problem in Edmonton.

I don't think record is much better with a great goalie in net instead of Dubynk.

I have to believe that the Flyers are a much better team than their early season performance suggests. I have a feeling that they'll make a run at the playoffs. A win today would make them 5 points out in that awful excuse for a division, so the season isn't exactly a lost cause at this point.

So we can now add Jay Rosehill to the list of names who have more goals than Claude Giroux

One has to wonder when the Edmonton media will nut up and ask MacTavish if/when their coaching staff is/will be on the hot seat. It's clear they still cannot stop the defensive bleeding.

Damn it, Edmonton, this is pathetic.

True. I think they are capable of scoring more goals but I am not sure if Mason can keep playing this good consistently.

I see them finishing with the 9th-10th pick again.

If Giroux plans to score a goal this season, this game is one of his better opportunities.

And that's just after the first period.

My God is Larsen terrible. He looks like a minor league player being forced to play in the NHL. Have to love how the Flyers have generated more scoring opportunities shorthanded than the Oilers have in this game. As much as we all laugh at the misfortunes of the Flyers and Holmgren, the Oilers are just such a mess on and off the ice. No coach and can right this sinking ship.

You can't launch a rocket wide when you are on a 3 on 1. Hemsky should know better.
