Now that we are back

I thought I would repost this clip to get our collective hockey juices flowing once again!

people can tell us that fans in Nashville won't support this team...

...but listen only to that crowd, and I'm thinking that there's not much stock to put in that one.

I love that clip!!!!!

Not being much of a player, did it seem to anyone that Legace dropped fairly quickly? It's like he was already in the butterfly before Legwand released the shot.

that moment and maybe the pregame of game 6 were the loudest moments I've ever heard at a sporting event and I went to Indiana U for a couple of years and experienced Assembly Hall, I went to UT for the other couple of years and experienced Neyland Stadium, and I was at the music city miracle game.

The only two other games I've been at that compared were the music city miracle game and Mets-Braves at Shea Stadium in 2001 when the Mets scored 8 in the 8th (down 9-2 or something going into the innning) and piazza hit the go ahead home run. that was pandemonium, but i think Legwand might have topped it.

It truly was loud! For everyone that was there, I am very sure it was an unforgettable experience. I know that I will not be forgetting my first taste of playoff hockey here in Nashville. 120 bucks for two lower bowl tickets in the playoffs?? Craziness!

I was there from 92-94 (freshman/sophomore) and I loved it, but had to move to the cheaper in-state tuition of UT. I had fun at UT, but my couple of years at IU were beyond great.

How did you like it, HT? I'd say it was fun during your time because it was right after Breaking Away and they won a championship while you were there.

I'll never forget the night we won the NCAA Basketball Championship in 1981....two of my fraternity brothers stole one of the Showwalter Fountain [8 foot] fish and carried it to our house on E Third St...about 2 miles away. What a crazy night....my recollections are sort of hazy though.....
